Orange Sherbet Floats

Orange Sherbet Floats are an easy refreshment, made with only 3 ingredients and ready in 6 minutes!

It’s officially autumn here in Colorado. The leaves are changing, the squirrels are gathering for the winter, and – it’s HOT.

What is up what that? It’s been over 80 degrees every day for the last week! Although it’s supposed to cool down later this week, I seriously needed something to keep me cool today, and that’s where these Orange Sherbet Floats came in.

Making a sherbet float is fairly simple. All that’s required is some type of ice cream or sherbet and a drink that will make it foam up.

If you have both of those ingredients, you can make a float on any given day! And a dessert that quick is just too good to pass up.

Greyson and I hopped on over to our neighborhood King Soopers store to grab some ingredients so I could throw these floats together. I love ice cream floats, but they’re usually restricted to people who love root beer. I don’t really care for root beer, so I thought I’d find something else to compliment my orange sherbet, and that’s when I found Canada Dry Mandarin Orange Sparkling Seltzer Water.

This Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water is exactly what I needed to put the fizz into my sherbet floats! It’s light because it’s completely unsweetened, and has zero calories, and zero sodium, so it helps balance out those calories from my sherbet.

Plus, it’s all-natural, so there’s no guilt in putting anything extra in your body (you can save that for Thanksgiving dinner, right?).

We also grabbed some orange juice and our orange sherbet and hit the road. The second we got back home, I had to make these.

And honestly, these floats took less time to put together than we took actually buying the ingredients! It was as easy as 1-2-3. 1) Canada Dry. 2) Orange juice. 3) Sherbet. Tada!

Plus, the Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water was the perfect effervescent and bubbly addition to make our sherbet foam up and mix in with the drink.

We drank our floats with our straws, spoons, and straight from the cup. I think I’ll make another batch tomorrow to keep us cool until a fall breeze kicks in.

Make sure you hop over to King Soopers to pick up some of your Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water and use some coupons from the King Soopers website while you’re there!
